Caipirinha

Caipirinha

Caipirinha Caiprinha is a classic cocktail originating from Brazil. Cachaca is blended with limes and sugar and should be served with crushed ice.

Think Latin American cocktails and you could be forgiven for thinking of Margaritas and Mojitos. But in recent years the huge growth in all things Brazilian has resulted in the popularity of the Caipirinha (which means ‘little countryside drink’ in Portuguese and is pronounced kai-pur-een-yuh) which is made using the native spirit of Brazil, Cachaça, mixed lime and sugar and is guaranteed to refresh.

If you don’t feel up for making a Caipirinha yourself, you could head to one of Europe’s handful of Brazilian bars. Alternatively, we would recommend that you just reach for Coppa Caipirinha and serve one for yourself straight from the fridge. How easy it that!
